Conyers Releases Massive New Report on Bush-Cheney Crimes

The minority staff of the U.S. House of Representatives Judiciary Committee, under the leadership of Congressman John Conyers (D., Mich.) just released a staggering report with the hard evidence of crimes and abuses committed by President Bush and his administration (breaking 26 specific laws). This report, "The Constitution in Crisis," should provide the raw material for numerous news reports and point reporters toward fertile ground for additional investigations.

I never trusted him, either. I was speaking to the Republicans.

What do you mean "still"? Hey look, can't you see W and his buds just sittin' around and the phrase " that's what rules were made for" echo for hours.

Anybody who paid attention to the 2000 Republican primaries would know that there were plenty of people pulling Bush's strings. Some tip offs from back then: "I'm a uniter not a divider"; "I don't believe in nation building."; etc. OK, those were rhetorical lies, typical of most politicians. These days the president has no problem lying (Remember he promised to fire anybody who leaked in his administration. Last I heard, Karl Rove is still very busy in the White House). The new stuff is very specific illegal actions that I hope leads to the impeachment and removal of both Bush and Dick.

OF COURSE.

Even the Democrats don't pay any attention to John Conyers. He's a traitor that has always supported communism. He hates America with a passion.

You are advertising a Communist Website.

Shame, shame, on you. You are a "political activist", acting like you are asking a serious question. I don't think you'll fool many people.

Not sure if I'ver ever "trusted" any politician...our political system itself is a little too corrupt, I'm afraid. Anyone really worthy of actual "trust" could never get elected...and if elected, could never get anything done.
I notice that this "staggering report" was released by the "minorirty staff of the U.S. House"...i.e. the Democrats...so I don't really give it much credence, either.
Both Republicans and Democrats have proven that they'll believe what they WANT to believe, and will interpret everything based on what their political need of the moment is.
Hell of a shame...alas for my country, that I love.

There's a surprise. John Conyers (d) publishes a paper critical of Bush. And on afterdowningstreet (which turned out to be nothing) of all places. Surprise. Surprise.

I would say to trust any politician is a bit naive... be it Bill Clinton, either Bush or anyone else...

I prefer to base my opinions more on a man's actions and the facts/reasons he gives to support his actions..

I have not been impressed with Bush so far...

but yes... as to the report... every president has their "conspiracies and crimes"... the validity of which are usually murky... but that doesn't mean that they aren't true... but I'm cautious to believe is, much as I am cautious to believe the Clinton "crimes"

hey 'rukidding', shrubby the presidunce has:
*wrote personal exemptions from 750 laws, (the most in history)
*has deliberately broken at least 26
*is the first president to succesfully rig the election, and thus steal the job
*is the first president to have lied his nation into a disasterous war, and never admit to the lies
*is the first president to take credit for legislation passed over his own veto (1st campaign when he claimed credit for an education bill that in truth he vehemently opposed, just another lie to him)
*is quite easily the dumbest president we have ever had (stuck in a children's book for 7 minutes after being informed that his nation was under attack, not moving until aides finally told him what to do)
*first president whose service records mysteriously "vanished", so nobody can prove definitively that he was a deserter.
*first president to BE a deserter!
*first president to speak worse english than your average 10 year old
*first president with a f*cking DUI on his record!!
*openly admitted that he "didn't care" anymore about the man who so grieviously attacked our nation, osama bin laden, never stated why
*disbanded the CIA unit who was hunting bin laden, interfeared or counter-manded attemts to find him, why?
first president to turn a budget surplus into the largest deficit in history
*first president to have utterly failed at every other business except politics, bankrupting his oil company and running his baseball team into the ground
*first presidential administration to openly advocate torture
*first president to circumvent, repeatedly, the constitution he swore to uphold (patriot act, holding prisoners without due process)
so, why the hell should anybody trust him???????????????????????????????????????????

Why? What has the Decorates say he has done now. Just about everything they say he he has done has been here say, horse rubbish and just pure lies.Well, I guess I will look into this, as I take nothing for fact till I study the accusation!
I guess they just can't get over the fact , what was said about Clinton, was all true.

Do you still trust Bill Clinton? That guy lied when the truth would have done better. I don't think that Bush is the best we have ever done but he is far from the worst.
