I heard the same things.... and having had five kids I can assure that the little darlings can do somersaults the day before they are born...
I was told the same things about movement how they have less room to move and so settle down to grow while awaiting birth... that never happened to me..
My mother, a mother of six, agreed with me... the little beasties seem to delight in twisting, turning, and somersaulting when ever they choose to...

My little one moved all the time right up until birth, you baby could just be getting in the birthing position. As long as the movements do not feel frantic then don't worry too much. You can always just casually mention to your doctor that You've noticed quite a bit of movements.

Yes, baby movement is great and normal. No baby movement is not good. Although, movement is common to slow down as the baby becomes larger as there is less room to move around.

Here is a simple answer, at 38 weeks, your baby is packing its bags, paying the hotel bill and is preparing to move out.
The moves you feel are normal, as the baby gets ready to be "born." As for 'big movements," your baby is about to start making even bigger movements, such as; walking, talking, running, eating, stinking up the place with movements, and then they get older and the movements get even bigger.

I had 4 kids and never noticed any measurable difference in their movements right up until late labor. They kicked and stretched even though they didn't have a lot of room any more.

usually when you start to feel him/her slow, labor is coming very soon. Usually within 48 hours. My daughter kept the big movements up until a couple days before birth and she weighed 7lbs

My OB doctor says as long as the baby is moving that is a good sign baby is OK even towards the end. You want that baby to stay as active till delivery day this way you know your little one is OK.

The greater flow the greater proper different than that its making you nauseous lol! you will desire to in hassle-free terms be frightened if the toddler stops moving. maximum folk sense much less flow as they get greater advantageous alongside because of the fact there is far less room for the toddler to circulate.

Yes it is okay... Just because his/her space is limited doesn't mean he/she won't move! Just means that you will feel it more now because the space is limited!!!
