Just curious,is there anybody out there who has actually stayed close with friends or a friend they had in high school???

I have stayed close, but the relationship is definitely not the same mostly because we all went off to different schools and experienced different things that we don't necessarily have in common, but at this point I think we can all enjoy each other's company without that being too big of a deal. I'm definitely closer with my after high school friends though. My sis stayed best friends with her high school best friend because they went to the same college and kinda grew through that phase together.

Some of my friends and I stayed close for some years, but eventually went separate ways. Try classmates.com. They offer a lot of services to help re-unite people who are interested.

My mom had a couple of friends in high school that she still goes out to lunch with or something when she goes back to where she went to high school.

I have been best friends with my best friend since we were 3. We are now 15.

Yeah. I keep in contact with one of my best friends form those days. I have not however kept up with another one of my best ones..
