I would suggest going to see a doctor. There are a lot of possibilities. Some are nothing, and others include things like clots and endomitriosis that need to be seen to.

I had this situation after having my daughter, and it turned out that the severe sleep deprivation and irregular eathing patterns that I was having as a result of a baby with feeding issues, I was just too stressed to produce a normal period. Even though this was not serious, it was still good to see the doctor and get an idea of what I should be doing and concerned about.

Sometimes, hormones, such as prolactin (which makes breast milk) become elevated after pregnancy and cause a lack of a period. You should probably go to the OB for a blood test or whatever she feels would be an appropriate diagnostic tool. Good luck!

Most women do *not* have a period just 2 weeks after they stop nursing. It can take 4-6 weeks after you wean before your period returns.

Why aren't you breast feeding?
I hope you have a good reason to deprive your daughter of this.
Why are you asking medical questions to idiots on Yahoo answers, myself included?
Get a brain and go back to your doctor!
