no its not right. They need time to sit on it. wait it out till they really think about what happened. It depends on what you did and how good of a friend they are. Give it time. the best thing you can do is raise your white flag and be the bigger person. If they are a good person who can be adult enough to forgive then thats awesome. If not...move on to better people, who will get over things, and try to avoid making the same mistake again. Oh yeah and a story always has two sides. keep that in mind.

No.. at least , not until they want to initiate it. i went thru a similar situation.. a friend (i've known her for.. like 8 years or something..!) did a lot of crappy **** to mess up a bridesmaid situation for our mutual friend's wedding, and i was pretty upset. she totally disregarded my situation, and the bride's situation, and was completely selfish the whole time. finally, she Dropped out of the wedding, with stupid, lame excuses! i tried to talk w/ her, and have her explain. i gave her a chance. she just said "I don't want to talk about it. I know everything I say will sound like an excuse." :O... i mean, if she has nothing to say for what she did, HOW can i get past it? i think she's selfish, obnoxious, pig headed, and stupid, and she's not going to give me an explanation to think otherwise? =T that's her fault, i gave her a chance. so i just ended up distancing myself from her cuz i didn't trust her. and u know what happened?? she got MAD at me for distancing myself, and wrote me a HATE MAIL, saying she never wanted to talk or see me again!! can u believe her nerve....

moral of the story is, if that person is not willing to work things out w/ you, then they are not worth it. :) if she wants to try to be friends again, i'm fine w/ that. but i'm not doing any work anymore, i've already given her a chance, it's her turn to be bigger than her selfishness and change.

it depends on the severity of the action. if it is something minor then just let it go. if it is a major problem then give some serious thought to reconsidering the friendship.
