I would think that this is an every day occurence. i am sure that they dont hear about every car jacking here. what gives?

Dysfunctional reporting. When my kids do something wrong, I do not go on about it and amplify it so that that they do it more to get my attention. I emphasize the good and try to ignore the bad.

We need to show picts of dead terrorists and interview/highlight the good that is being done. Simple!

your a moron, when a car bomb goes off people die. usually innocent people. a car jacking just means an insurance company has to fork over some money for a new car. no amount of money will bring someoone back from the dead

they are trying to prove a point
Middle east is bad
East is good
so the are trying to prove it by showing you every car bombing.
i live in the middle easr and i've never heard or seem a car bombing or lost anyone in a car bombing or heard of a person who died in car bombing
except in the news

This is really strange, since there are other places in the world, more populated, and populated with nicer people, then the Middle East.

I agree we do not hear anything about the many many other wars and conflicts happening around our globe. It does help me to appreciate everything that I have in my life.

It's all about money. Sensationalism draws peoples' attention. If they have your attention, they can sell you their advertising.
