When I separate the person from who they are, i.e. a body part, that person has an incredible bottom, or they are hot, I am separating the person from who they are to how they appear/look. I am also idealizing who they are based on the objectification of their body, i.e., because that person is hot, I would like to get to know them, or somehow they are appealing emotionally mentally because they are hot. As I am objectifying, lust shows itself in fantasy. What would I like, what would I like to do with and to them. So I would say when the idealized picture of this person is replaced with reality, IE., who they really are. You can accept and be willing to see past faults, issues, problems because Love carries no jealousy, love doesn't judge, love don't do anything for self gratitude, love gives unconditionally, love is trust, love is respect, love is truth!

Love or lust it could happen with a 18 year old, 24 year old, or 38 year old, 42 year old. Its not the issue. Sounds like you are upset about the age more than whether or not he's just banging her or loving her. I don't think the age difference is an issue. You don't know unless you're inside their relationship, seen them together, and see how happy (or unhappy) your brother is.
My friend's parents are 10 years apart and are happily married 25+ years. Another friend's parents are 13 years apart and happily married as well.
Sure, it could be lust, just f*cking around, she could be using him for sex, he could be using her for sex or even money, hell, you won't know. But again those exact same scenarios could happen with an 18 year old as well- so as long as your borther is happy, than don't worry about it.

depends on your brother. ask your self has he always been mature for his age. has he always looked at women his age as immature. if yes this could be love. if this is something new for him it could be lust or a phase and it will eventually run it's course.

We have no way of knowing. What does he think about having children? I'd be more concerned how hoes he imagine his life 5 years from now. 18 years from now? She'll be 60...

It could be either, but chances are that at 24... he will have many more relationships before he settles for one. Don't worry too much.
