I really doubt if Bush seriously wants to export U.S. way of life. No doubt he says he wants to spread 'freedom' and 'democracy'. But thats just a public stand. There is no evidence for suggesting US has ever made or is making an attempt to speard democracy. They are happy even now to deal with a dictator in Pakistan since it suits them.
Having said that, what US has really and consistently tried to do throughout history is spread capatalism. For it is vital for US that most of the world is capatalistic. Or else it would hamper US economy. So they even toppled democracies and installed Dictators simply because those dictators promised to do away with Socialism. Chile and Iran are good examples from history.
Bush is in this sense no different to past presidents when he tries to furthur US economic influence in anyway he can. What people in those regions really want is the last thing on his mind.
But the tragedy of all this is that in the long run it hurts both US and the nations it tries to bully.

Because he is an idiot. Remember, Bush's logo

"When in doubt, start a war"

which is why the rest of the world hates Bush.

Well they kinda do. When the first brittish settlers came to this land and settled here they wanted the "American" way of life. They had thier methods of getting it. So you see that the rest of the world actually does want this way of life. They just have thier methods of getting it.
