I need real advise. I have this friend that had a baby right after high school. She isnt married, but she lives with the father. Here is the thing I know for a fact that she does drugs, and that for a short time her boyfreind was a dealer. I would always tell her that I would watch her daughter when ever she needed, I knew I couldnt stop her from doing drugs but I wanted to shield her child from it as much as possible. For a long time she would drop her baby off at my house sometimes really late, anyway she suddenly stopped talking to me, andI have no idea what is happening with this sweet little girl of hers. My question is this girl is my friend, but I feel like I should call child services. I just want to protect the little girl I love her so much, it would kill me to see anything bad happen to her, do you think I should call or just let it be. Serious answers please!!!!

You need to talk to your friend first, make her understand that she could hurt her little girl!!!! Tell her if she needs to chose to be a mother or be immature, it's time for her to stop doing that crap and become a mom, talk to her and try to get her to see that ... she'll regret doing this one day!! If that doesn't work I'd call someone ... I'd hate to, even though she's my best friend, but I just couldn't stand by and let it be!!!

Try to talk to this friend first. See if you can convince her to do something about her problem. If not, and she won't drop her child off more often, then maybe call Child Services. But, you should really do what your heart tells you to.

im going through the exact same thing w/ my big sis only she is stiil pregnet and she wants to give the babby to my parrents and my sis does drugs too and her bf is still a dealer but right now things are ok becouse we showed her what will happen if she dosent stop shes still smokes but no drugs and her bf is trying to stop selling but he needs the money he says so remind your friend about how beutiful her child is and if she dosent stop she will lose everything and if she gets cought her child will live in a foster home

I think u should talk to ur friend if u dont talk to her soon she might do something to her child. If talking to her doesnt wirk then call Child Services but just try talking to her first.

You should do your best at getting a hold of her. You have to have your facts straight before you do anything else.You should find out why she stopped talking to you and what is really going on.

you definitely should call and report this that child is in danger. don't let this go another day. possibly you can even do this anomously.

NO I WOULDN'T CALL ANYONE. IF SHE WAS SMART ENOUGH TO BRING THAT KID BEFORE WHEN SHE NEED TO. IF SHE NEED TO . SHE WILL DO IT AGAIN. PLUS: GOD TAKE CARE OF CHILDREN. OLD FOLKS AND DAM FOOLS.
