How do u tell asians apart?

ok these are GENERAL observations that I have noticed over the years. This does not apply to everybody so do not get offended. I have lived in california so I have seen all types.

These are my observations from my own experiences from telling them apart:

Chinese- more rounded faces, higher checkbones, medium to light tan skin, broader noses

Korean- (hard to tell since a lot get plastic surgery) more lighter skin, smaller eyes, high cheekbones, eyes seem closer together

Japanese- medium to light tan skin, shorter than chinese, more narrow faces, the nose is less broader

Philipino- medium to darker tan skin, wider bigger eyes (mixed with spanish) broader noses, some have slight overbites

Vietnamese- seems the shortest of asians, some have broader noses, medium to darker tan skin, the eyes seem more sunk in.

Cambodian- more sunken eyes, forehead seems bigger, more broader noses, medium to darker tan skin.

I don't know , these are my GENERAL observations, this does NOT mean all asians look like this. There are a spectrum of different looks for all asians.

I think it just come natural for people who are Asian. It is really hard to describe, but I usually just need a second or two of a glance to determine the ethinicity of an Asian. It does not rest on only one or two factors, but the overall facial feature, demeanor, disposition, posture, body type, skin color, the way they dress, how makeup is applied. However, I have to say facial feature is the most crucial determining factor.

I have travelled and lived in Asian countries extensivelly(I'm not Asian) but I can tell Asians apart by the shape of the eye.

im asians and i still cant asains apart but u can always tell by the way they talk... just listen to them talk and see what u think there from... or u can just ask them what kind of asians they are

I would say by their names. Just like other people.

If you are not Asian yourself, you pretty much can't. Same thing with latinos, none latinos don't know if they are Mexican or Chilean, Salvadoran, or Guatemalan. But most latinos can tell them apart, by their accents.
