This was a key point of the Defense, "If the glove doesn't fit, it proves he's not the killer"
Please keep in mind, OJ is an actor.
The glove was tight to begin with, let alone what a dried blood drenched glove might do.
OJ had his fingers outstreched through the entire demonstration.
He was wearing a latex glove to begin with.
The Jury was led on to believe that the glove didn't fit ~well (though he did still manage to get it on).
This was a hugh win for the defense.

How were we all duped on this? Your thoughts on all this please.

I'm with you on the glove. When I saw him trying on the glove, I knew it had shriveled because of the blood on it. And he was wearing a latex glove which took up space. That whole incident in the courtroom was an effing farce.
Funny though, everytime I see his face in the news or hear his name, my mind always goes back to that scene of him trying on HIS glove.

He had arthritis, and his hands were swollen. Plus, it was a great acting job.

"We" weren't all duped on this; the jury was.

Read Bugliosi's great "Outrage" to see how the prosecution completely bungled this case.

The actual quote was, "If it doesn't fit, you must acquit." Of course he was guilty and the glove demonstration was a farce.
