My ex & i have been broken up for 3 1/2 years. When i decided to end the relationship we agreed that we would not introduce our daughter (7 yr old) to our new love intrest unitl we knew it was serious. I dated my now fiance for a year and a half b4 intorducing them to each other. he continued to date differnt women left & right & introducing our daughter to them! I put my foot down & he respected me & stopped. It has been about a year since he stopped doing that. He recently met a woman & knew her for all of two weeks. Moved her in to his home, calls me & says " I want our daughter to meet my girlfriend, it's really serious!!!" He says she's it for him. Not only does he not know her, but neither do I. I think they should wait at least six months! AM i wrong??? My oopinion is that in another few months he will have a new flavor!

You are soooooo right! What kind of example is he setting for his daughter? She should not be exposed to this it could be effecting her more than he thinks.

You can't be the judge of who is right for your ex or whether or not he is moving too fast. If he has moved this woman into his home already then I guess it is pretty serious and he thinks it's going to work. If you are uncomfortable with this then you should talk to him about perhaps not introducing your daughter to the woman until more time has passed. This might mean that instead of visits to dad's house - he spends time with her elsewhere.
You can't tell him what to do and you can't shelter your daughter forever. Kids are much smarter than what you give them credit for and she is going to eventually learn about her dad's dating habits at some point. It might be better to let things happen as they may and instead of shunning his new relationship, why not invite them over for a bbq and get to know his new gf.

I would write all this down and document it with dates and times every time he has made her meet new girls so if you have to take him to court again to modify your divorce you can bring this up and screw him with it. get a voice recorder and secretly record your daughter and talk to her about it and see what she says. she might admit something he doesnt want you to know and you can screw him that way too.

i have the same problem except my ex doesnt even have a perminent place to live, my kids sleep where ever he stays for the weekend and i hate it. its gotta change too.
