Why are there no strip clubs with women for women? In Los Angeles it seems like there's a strip club on every other block, but none designed for gay females. The only way I'll go to a strip club is with a large group of females, not just me and my gf. Guy customers seem to get mixed up about who will and will not be taking off their clothes. Guys also seem to get embarressed whenever a party of women show up at a strip club. It's like they're suddenly embarressed to be there.

I go to them regularly, by myself even. I don't really care what the guys in there think.

I've never been to strip clubs on the west coast so I might not be the best-qualified lesbian to answer your question.

However, back when I lived in Baltimore, I found that strip clubs tended to be somewhat lesbian-friendly. The straight guys ate it up & tipped the dancers more every time they got naughty with another woman.

My first lapdance ever was onstage at the Ritz in Fells Point. As Enigma's "Sadeness" was playing on the jukebox, I was getting very turned on to this chick who looked like a cross between Julia Duffy & Courtney Love on a good day. I was coerced into it by friends of mine (a bisexual couple) after I had given the dancer a thumbs up.

I've got other stripper stories to share, but I'll save 'em for another time *wink*

Strip bars should not exist...they send out a terrible message to anyone and I don't understand why some people choose to have this kind of "fun". It's raunchy and I'm not a prude at all...I just have some morals and I think strip clubs contribute to the delinquency of the world. Sure do...

They have NONE in my area.

But, I used to work as a waitress in a strip club, and when two women came in. Unless one of the women was a Stud, the men would be all "shocked" which I never quite understood why.

I always go to the strip club with large guy and girl groups. Mostly couples with Bi girls. It really keeps all the other guys far away

People are generally somewhat apprehensive of people whom they percieve to be different than themselves. If you are a woman in a strip club, odds are that you're a lesbian. Most guys, especially those insecure enough to frequent such establishments, would be unsure of how to react in such a situation.

I'm a huge hypocript when it comes do this subject. I'm completely for women's rights and I hate to see women degraded like that, but....damn... I do enjoy the occasional lapdance.
