God there are so many. Recently ive watched reruns of Blackadder Series 3 & 4, will get round to watching the second series. Peep Show, all 3 series. Smoking Room was very good, older comedies, of course, Monty Python was good, Porridge, Only Fools and Horses is always a classic, Up Pompeii was full of sexual innuendo but in a good way, Morecambe and Wise, The Two Ronnies, Some Mothers Do Ave Em, Red Dwarf, Father Ted, maybe im the only person who likes My Family, i think its funny, Coupling (until Geoff left anyway).

Red Dwarf.
A regular audience of 10 million (not bad for a BBC2 show shown at 9pm on a thursday night).
Also, RD holds the record for the longest continual laugh from a studio audience. Filming had to be stopped for over 15 minutes as the crew couldnt hear the director over the laughter. It makes DelBoy's fall through the bar top seem rather feeble.
As the the Best comedian.... its a toss up between Billy Connolly and Lee Evans.

I believe the Vicar of Dibley ran a huige national poll conducted by the BBC last year. Having said that, I've never met anyone who thinks Dibley was - or is - better than Only Fools and Horses.
OFAH is the usual pick, with the likes of One Foot in the Grave, The Two Ronnies and Fawlty Towers always up their as classics, as well as more recent offerings such as The Office.

I've just watched Comedy COnnections with Only Fools and Horses and as they said in the programme it transcends time.
I can pick up anyone of my OFAH DVDs and know I'm going to be laughing my socks off all the way through.
As for the best comedian how can you separate David Jason and Nicholas Lyndhurst, they work so well off one another
