The first time I saw it I thought it was a fluke, but now I'm seeing all these preteen girls wearing pajama pants EVERYWHERE! Like the mall, out to dinner, etc. Since when did it become acceptable to wear nightclothes in public? It looks ridiculous.

Omg, i was wondering that too. WTF??I don't think it ever became acceptable.Even though this "trend" has been around for a little while now, I still can't believe my eyes when i see ppl wearing their pjs to school and out. I guess they think its a fashion statement??, " I don't care what ppl say, Im a rebel?"

They go perfectly with the "I have nothing to wear" T-shirts.

Good question. I think they are just lazy! I would feel naked if I did it because I only wear those in my house or to go out and get the mail!

it's about comfort. as long as no one is running around with a crotchless nightie on, i'm ok with the pajama bottoms for most (not all) occasions

I guess because they want to show everybody what they sleep in every night. or either they dont have anything else to wear.
