Even though he's been coddled to the point of being nauseating, I think Bush is well aware of how much of a failure he is.
He's owned more than one Oil company, and all - yes all - died / went bankrupt. Even with his daddy's help... he still drove them swiftly into the ground.
He skipped out of his duty in the armed forces... couldn't even manage to stick around and do that right.
He started a war against an IDEA.
He's made the US gov't and citizens look like absolute morons (amongst other things)
He's decimated the rights of his people.
He's draining the US economy of 30 Million (or is it Billion?) a month.
He's looking to start several more wars.
Looks like situation normal - all fuggered up.
The one thing he is doing well is ruining the US economy and getting his oil buddies rich.

bush is such a dick because he is the 'front man' - the doof that gets all the attention, while his evil henchman Cheney gets away with all kinds of crap. It's like Laurel and Hardey. Abbot and Costello.

Take a person who's not very smart, put a silver spoon in his mouth from the moment he's born, give him everything in the world, then have him believe in Jesus. You take these things, mix them together, you're left with him. There's nothing worse than a really stupid person who's arrogant, then you take the Jesus thing, so he thinks he's got the market cornered on morality, that's all a dangerous comination!
