There are 3 basic ways to get your book published:
--traditional publishers, usually with an agent
--self-publishing
--subsidy publishing.
With a traditional publisher, you pay nothing. The agent, if you have one, takes a commission from the royalties and advances on royalties that the publisher pays you. It will cost the publisher somewhere between $2,000 (a very low-end, niche market book) to $20,000 (an average hard-bound book you might get in a bookstore, to $50,000 (a mass market book) and up.
Self-publishing requires that you buy the ISBN (identification number of the title and edition), pay for the editing, design and printing, and do the marketing yourself. It will cost you about what a comparable book would cost a traditional publisher, but there are obstacles you will face that they might not.
Subsidy publishing can be exceedingly inexpensive up front, although the per copy costs mount up quickly if you print many. If you don't really want your book to be sold in bookstores, this can be a good choice.

Will assume your talking about self publishing so try writeronlineworkshop in Yahoo search engine. They may offer free newsletter which main goal is to find people interested in self publishing. Not sure if you need to subscribe to one writing magazine to get it, watch the fine print. If this doesn't work try your library for writers magazine. The prices range from the hundreds to tgousands. The odds of being successful are very high be sure you use venture capital and not ego capital.

depends on what u mean publish u can have it printed and get as many copys of it as u want and sell it your self or u can get it published by submiting it to a big company and you will be payed and get so much per sell
