What is the easiest and cheapest way to go to Goa in India and can you fly from Manchester direct?

The direct flight from Manchester to any city of Goa is not available as of now. You would be required to fly into Mumbai and then take a connection to Goa by road (coach, cab), rail or air. From Mumbai to Goa, trains and ordinary buses work out to be the cheapest in the II Class sleeper non-AC trains and sitting in state transport buses, irrespective of the comfort of the journey.
