Deonte is cool... and so is amia. I guess marsha isn't bad either but qutaha is UGLY.

Amia is prettier as amaya

DEONTE isn't a name. it's an abreviation or derivative of DEONTIC from DEONTOLOGICAL and DEONTOLOGY..They are words pertaining to moral obligation.
As to QUTAHA, the closest thing I've found as a name is
Qudamah which is a boys name in arabic and Quanah also a boys name in Cherokee.
It isn't easy to pronounce, and would be the devil to spell.

DEMAIA....or Demia means "half"

Amia is a derivative of AMY

MARSHA same as Marcia an english name from the latin
Martial

If you want a some more original names here are a few...
HADIYA swahili name means "gift"
CHENOA native american name means "white dove"
ASTRIG armenian name means "star"
TORI japanese name means "bird"

Then there are lots of nice spanish names...
PALOMA means "dove"
NIEVES means "snows"
REYES means "kings"

Arminda, Cruz, Jimena, Maritxu, Nerina, Sol,Tirza

If you're leaning towards any of them for your kid(s), please keep in mind that he/she will spend the rest of his/her life having people butcher the pronounciation and spelling of their name. You might not see that as a big deal, but try to think back to when we were young and wanted so badly to fit in. Every little thing makes young kids feel out of place. There's no reason to make it worse by having them teased because of their name.

Also keep in mind that one day they may want to become business professionals or even a supreme court justice. I'm not so sure those sound very professional to me, but, hey, who am I to judge (especially if he/she becomes a supreme court justice)!

If the names have any sort of family or cultural significance, I vote for Amia.

There's my 2 cents. Hope it's not offensive!

The only one I like is Deonte. Marsha is my mom's name and she has hated it her whole life.
