I loved waitressing throughout college. The schedule was flexible. The environment was fun and I made great money. Now, I work across the street from where I worked through college and I miss the atmosphere so much. Those were fun times.

while i was in college, i worked for the university....i was a resident assistant so i didnt have to pay for housing (and i also got a paycheck) and i worked as a gallery attendant at the museum on campus.
getting a job on campus is easier than trying to get another job...and a university job will understand that youre a student first so they will make sure to give you hours that work with your class schedule (non-campus jobs may be more strict with hours which could cause problems with your academic schedule).
try going to the career center at your school to find out about openings on campus.

You can see what your school has to offer in the way of work-study. Or you can find part-time work, or a super understanding boss. I work full time & go to school full time. There are bosses that understand how important an education is...and I'm not even going to school to stay with the company. You gotta look...nothing will just jump up & bite you on the nose.
Good luck!

Well, there is always the part-time campus job in an office or something, or the ever-dependable fast food place. Or, contact the psychology lab and volunteer for research studies. I've done it, and its fast money.

I work in the bookstore, waited tables, interned at a television station. I would have wrestled alligator, but no gators in Alaska.

You mean junior college, right? Because you said "your" when you meant to say "you're". I wouldn't try to be an English tutor if I were you...
