He's starting to get in trouble for the game.. he asked to spend the night at my house last weekend.. just to find out he wants to play that game all night.. I told him it wouldnt be such a big deal if he didn't give his parents & me such an attitude when he's asked to get off or do something.. any suggestions?

My son is also addicted to Runescape, but worse, he got me addicted as well.
Two things:
1. Create a character in Runescape and play it a little. Ask him
to help you.It will give yo an understanding of why he is
addictesd, and something to talk to him about that he will; be
interested in. Even if you don't like games, you will have
made an effort to show interest in something he is interested
in.
2. Both you and his parents have to set limits on his computer
use that are fair, consistent, and enforceable.
Plan ahead of time WITH HIM, that he is only allowed to be
on the computer from this time to this time.
Remind him, NICELY, 5 min. before end time.
At end time, tell him to sign off immediately.
If he does not comply in 2 or 3 min, turn the computer power
off.
If he gives you attitude, no computer the next day.
More attitude, longer with no computer.
If he loves the game, (and I suspect he does), he will
figure out that itis better not to fight.
