it gets louder and then in the afternoon it goes away

the belt has stretched you can not tighten this kind of belt it has automatic tensioner you need to replace the belt it wont last much longer the reason it will stop in the afternoon is the heat the belt gets hot it wont sqeal

needs a new belt... motorcraft or goodyear gatorback about the best for the noise
