i have a 99 ford taurus when i start it up in the morning it makes a squelling kind of noise when you reve the

engine it gets louder and then in the afternoon it goes away

my guess would be something to do with the drive belt it might have something on it (oil,water) if it doesn't go away on it's own u might have to replace it

bad belt or bad belt tension.
