For high school I want to look older, but not grown, more beautiful, the whole 9. What is the best way to do it without spending an arm and a leg. I have long hair, I'm light skinned, and I'm only 5'3. I'm like the typical "girly girl".

I'm in my 3rd year of high school so I've been through the "freshman" stage. Go hip and chic. You might want to dress your age, but with an artistic and girly girl taste. Join clubs, and be involved. You won't be noticed if you don't introduce yourself. And always have a smile on your face, even though inside it stinks... People will like you and introduce you to their "group".

try a nice mature hairstyle and you can also try a little makeup but dont go overboard and shop at places like old navy and places like that and try wearing form fitting clothes and i hope you have a great high school year those 4 years will be the best years of your life

drink lots of water. a good complexion stands out alot. I suggest getting a new hairstyle , since your hair is long then it leaves room for a new look .

shop at stores like gap and lerners. they sell the type of clothing that alot of mature women wear, so you will look older but not like a slut. you will also have a more mature, grownup, sophisticated look to you. wear your hair down and with up to date styles. up do's like buns and ponytails low with pant outfits will give a mature look as well.

well if ur doing this to impress pple.... then dont try to look older...... if u doing it for urself....... i think being u are is the best look........but.. if u must dress older i would suggest going to charlotte russe or bp (nordstrom).

no matter what you do, you cant make yourself look older. but you can act older. the more mature you act, you older you will look to others.
