The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks is very good.
If you like to cry, I suggest My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult or the True and Outstanding Adventures of the Hunt Sisters.
I really liked Aimee by Mary Beth Miller and Summer Sisters by Judy Blume.
The Truth About Diamonds by Nicole Richie was okay, supposedly fictional, but you could tell who certain characters were. I liked it.
If you've got some time on your hands, you could read the Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown. (It's excellent, yet I can understand the controversy behind it and it has no way changed my beliefs)

Oooh, also Sarah Dessen is an excellent writer. I suggest all of her books, especially Dreamland and Someone Like You.

Go to Amazon.com and search:
"Lost from Atlantis Book 1"
"Death by Murder David Lindsay" - you have to search that way or the title doesn't come up. There's a lot of sex and violence in that one but it's not gratuitous.
and "Super Spaghetti."
They're all by David A. Lindsay.

They're free if you have Kindle Unlimited, and you can get a free trial of that - Google how.
If you don't have a Kindle you can get a free smartphone app from Google Play, or read it online - all free.

I read a lot of romance novels. Sandra Brown is a good author. The book "Choices" is a really good one. "Plum Creek Bride" is also a good one.

I read mystery novels too. Encyclopedia Brown is awesome. =)
