I'am in desperate need of help I'am 17 years old living in Canada and very behind in school. Is there anyway possible way I can obtain my credits faster? If I attend regular school it will take my so long to get my diploma and I don't want that. Are there any alternatives? for eg. home school, schools where I can go part time because I have to work. Due to personal issuses in my home it has really messed me up academically and I really don't wanna be in classes with little immature gr. 11 kids. If anyone has any alternatives to help me gain my diploma within Ontario Canada it would be greatly appreciated thanks! I'am young and don't even wanna think of droping out as an option.

Canada doesn't have the GED? Most kids here in the U.S. just take the test to get out of high school. If that's not an option, can you take the equivalency tests for each class to pass it? You'd still have to study for the tests, but it would be faster (and on your own schedule).

Is there any alternative schools around you where you can go and get your credits that you need for that year and the credits that you need to catch up on. I live in texas and go to High School and some kids who are behind and stuff get to go to this place called Watson Learning Center and they catch up on there credits without doing as much work as one would do in High School. I really don't know what is in Canada but I hope your situation clears up. Hope this helped some.
