I say "holiday" because they all aren't holidays because we don't get the day off.

I'm stuck between Halloween and Christmas. Christmas is good because it's easier to share and enjoy with others, but Halloween just too freakin' fun.

Mine is "Christmas". Friends, family, and meeting new people all the time. Hot cocoa in front on the fire. Chestnuts roasting. Caroling. Long winter walks in the crunchy snow. I start celebrating "Christmas" with the First Snowfall of the season. And yes.....I manage to have a tree lit in every room of the house. I love the "Peace" that comes over me on Christmas Eve, and lasts till New Years Eve!

My vote's for Halloween, too! What other day can you become anything or anyone you want to...and it's o.k. to wander the streets that way, too!!!! Love it! PLus the fact that 2 of my kids were born then, makes it extra special!
