Specifically from Norcal or from reno. Carpoolers/ acco shares needed for weekend trips up to south lake tahoe.

Go to Homewood (about 7 to ten miles SW of Tahoe City).
Small ski resort, small summer resort. Cabins to rent. Near enough to the Desolation Wilderness for X country skiing, hiking, backpacking.
