According to the doctor a woman cannot get pregnant while her period is on but if you have intercourse on the second to last day or the last day of your period it is very possible for you to be pregnant.The reason for this is the sperm stays in your body until it can connect to your egg.

Yes you can. My first wife had a cycle through her third month. She was at the OBGYN several times and they told her it is normal for some women to continue like that. Odd, but normal.
