WHAT? Travis and Shanna split? Dammit. I think there is a curse, but then again, if a celeb couple would allow cameras to follow them around it wouldn't really last. I mean many celebrity couples don't really last, and the ones that do usually stay out of the spotlight.

Once these people get into the spotlight, that is when the individual egos take over. Instead of being a couple, they start competing for more attention. With Nick and Jessica, she craved the media attention while he stepped back. Carmen, Dave...Travis & Shanna..love being the center of attention. When they can no longer separate their private lives from reality TV....they're better off just getting the divorce papers ready.
Oh...and it was Christopher Knight (peter) not Michael Lookinland who married Adrianne Curry.

I don't know about any curse, but since Mike Lookinland and Adrienne Curry got married on MTV (2), I wonder how long it will be before they have a new reality show, "I F***ING HATE BOBBY BRADY, AND I WANT HIM DEAD"? Or maybe, "Divorce Court, White-Trash-with-Money Style".
Aww sorry, I'm just being mean. I actually wish all the best for them both. But what about Britney and Mr. Spears? Are there rumors (again) about them breaking up? I'll be damned if I want to be paying for her friggin' food stamps...
Did you believe Dave and Carmen were a "forever" kinda couple? I know she likes the "bad-boy" type, but how could he possibly compare in that department to Dennis Rodman? Yeah, Rodman's a complete nut, but he's GOTTA be a 10 on the "bad-boy" scale.
Personally? I wouldn't date celebrities. I didn't say "Movie stars" or "TV Stars", I said CELEBRITIES. The ones who do nothing to BE celebrities except be celebrities. Carmen, Paris, Gwen, Nicole, any of em, you can have em.

Prolly cause MTV signs couples with problems or eccentricities and exploits that drama for ratings. When the couples actually see themselves (or their partners) they realize that the honeymoon is over and they want out.
