I am having terrible breast pain and leakage. I am 36 weeks pregnant with my fourth child and never had this problem before. Could the leaking be due to me having nursed my youngest child or is it just something normal that I am experiencing with this pregnancy?

Sometimes women leak, sometimes they don't. Either is normal.
It may be that your body is remembering what to do quicker since you've had a baby and nursed before.
When you say pain, can you describe it? Engorgement? Tenderness? Shotting pains? Aching?
DO NOT PUMP without talking to your caregiver first as this can cause contractions!

I am having it too - I swear I feel like I am dying with it sometimes it is so excruciating. The thing I have found that seems to work is taking a washcloth and making it as hot as I can stand it and putting in on my breasts. However, I have heard that cold is better - cold seems to make my worse.

are your breasts really full/big? Maybe you need to express (pump) them. They may be engorged. Or, your hormones are making them sore. Sounds totally normal. Near the end of both of my pregnancies, mine were so sore too. Congratulations on your 4th baby!

it is sometimes normal -- just milk your breasts( with your doctor's approval ) or if you are not planning to breast feed get your doc to give you some pills to reduce your breasts-- just four more weeks and all will be better,
