i am 24 year old MALE, my height is 5-10. my weight is about 60 Kg( 132 lbs)

everyone saying i am thin and that make me depressed alot and so it further affect my health. what i do?...

i dont have confidence because i am thin and i feel weird in people because they are having good weight and i am not. how i can improve my confidence......

i am unmarried as well!..i heard with marriage a person gain weight. and i am not american!.. i am from India...and we dont have family doctors.

yes, you should eat alot more protein (ie: hard boiled eggs, tuna fish, poultry), and go work out...you'll bulk up on muscles which will make you look a lot bigger...not to mention healthier.

I have the same problem. About 5'9" and 135ish pounds. My GF (and everyone) keeps saying how thin I am. My girlfriend keeps trying to get me to eat more of everything and then also supplement it with fatty foods like candies and sweets. I don't eat sweets normally and don't want to do this JUST to gain weight...as I don't see how this can be healthy.

On the other hand, I'm 29 and can still excercise quite a bit, I don't get tired very easily, I can run a little bit if I need to or just have fun all day long playing outside or in the park with my kid. If I am going to gain weight I hope to do it naturally and not with sweets.

Something someone told me to try is maybe start working out, like in a gym, because it would build muscle mass. The extra workout would probably make my body crave more of things I am probably eating anyway, and use the extra to build muscles up.

If you really want to increase your weight you should go on a food hunt , and what I meen by that is eat things that you like , but dont over do it . You shouldnt eat alot of snack foods , just eat when you feel hungry . Dont snack all during the day because you couls becaome overweight and you could also becaome very sick , and un-healthy . Eat when it is apropiate . Eat full meals :
Example :
Breakfast -
Scrambled eggs
Bacon
Toast
Any type of fruit
Sausage

Lunch -
Low-fat Burger
Fruity Smoothie
Low fat Brownie
Some type of veggie with some great tasting dip
Snack -
Ice Cream
maybe some type of candy

Dinner -
Fish
Salad
Bread Sticks
Corn

Desserts -
Strawberry short cake
Wine

For some people, it is very hard to gain weight. If you are in good health, and eat balanced meals, that's all you can do. You can try and eat more food, but don't eat a lot of junk food, it could cause problems, later on in life. Try not to worry about it so much, some people are probably jealous, because you do not gain any weight. Maybe you need to get more exercise, do more walking, or jogging, that will help your appetite more. good luck!!

eat more and go to the gym to build some lean muscle( which is heavier than fat) so that should get ure wait up and make you look more handsom too! But at first you will not gain weight, u will build muscle and lose fat which will keep your weight constant.Then after the gym i recommend have a lot of protein and fruits. You can aslo have a big mac every once in a while with some fries

listen to me. i had the same problem i was 23 years old, 5 feet 11 inches tall, and i weighed only 132 pounds, i increased my calorie intake to over 2000 calories a day, and also drank a product called ensure, that is a calorie supplement. i drank 1 a day, ate 3 meals a day ( high in calories, lots of meat), and within a few weeks i had gained 10 pounds in about one year of doing this i reached a weight of 170 pounds, now its over 10 years later, and i work out at a gym, and still maintain the same diet, I'm now 210 pounds. trust me this will work.

well if you ask liek that everyone is going to say EAT EAT EAT and its not that easy i mean i eat so much and it just dont gain much weight. You need to eat the right food drink milk because your probably small boned and milk will make your bones bigger letting you gain weight aim to eat 4,000 calories a day try your best to be fit go to the gym and run in the mornign and drink water water water water (1 glass of water for ever 20 pounds and no more !)

You don't want to get fat. Change you nutrition and workout routine to increase weight. Try Muscle Milk. It has the good kinds of fats to couple with the protein. You could also use weight gainer. See your local GNC. Hit the gym and do more lifting weight, less reps to increase to a good weight. Continue increasing lifting weight until you reach you desired body weight. Then drop slightly and start increasing reps for tone.

Dude do this: Get a frozen pizza and drizzle some oil on it Put it in a oven. This tastes really good. Don't do any exercise until you gain weight. Then when you reach desired weight start the exercise cos you don't wanna get too fat.

India males are traditionally thin....don't worry so much about what other people think. You are rather a light weight...eat protein, lift weights, and eat 1 cup of ice cream before you go to bed....you will pack it on.

Your weight has a genetic factor. If you come from a skinny family then you may be well within reasonable weight. One way to help out mother nature is to build muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat. Doing pushups, situps, pullups and other excercises could help you out. It will not change you dramatically but it will tone you. Good luck!
