You are in grade 8 -- that means you are 14 years old. You want to choose your boyfriend over your family? Who is going to support you for the next seven years, until you are an adult? Who is going to feed you, clothe you, help you with homework, love and cherish you? Do you truly think it will be your boyfriend?
If you want to have a boyfriend and your parents object (and just so you know my bias, I'm on their side in this one as I think you are too young for a committed relationship) prove your maturity to them by being friends with this boy -- honest and above board, no sex, no cheating -- and invite him to your home to watch TV, eat popcorn, play Scrabble, or whatever. But keep it a friendly relationship. Over time, as your parents see that you are capable of behaving in a mature manner, and if the boy responds by respecting your desire for a friendly relationship, they will change their minds about letting you have a boyfriend.
But to say you love him at this point is foolish. It's called puppy love, and usually lasts about a month, before you fall wildly in love with someone else. It's part of the growing up process and you can either indulge yourself and have relationships with every guy who winks at you, or you can grow with it, learn to control yourself, and when true love comes, you will understand, recognize and appreciate it.
This won't be your favorite answer, but it's my honest response to you.

You have to choose your family over your boyfriend. Right now you think you really love him, but at your age, no my dear, that just isn't so. I know how you feel, trust me on this, and its hard not to have this boy in your life, but in the end, the only people you really can depend on is your family. In time you will realize that it wasn't love at all, but just an infatuation, even if it doesn't seem so right now. I wish you the best in life and the smarts to make the proper choices.

If you want the guy in your life forever and getting married...then ask ur parents and marry him. If u think the guy is nice and will be with you forever...then dont leave anyone. Family cant be left and the one u r in love(love is blind) u dont wanna leave. so try to have both if the guy want to marry you!.
otherwise for a temporary person in ur life, u cant leave ur family!

Since I don't know the particulars of your relationship, I would say, see where you stand with your boyfriend(the bad outweighing the good and vice versa) and if you see something that you dissaprove of in him, and it lines up with what your family may dissaprove of also, choose family. They have your back.

Your family will ALWAYS be there for you, even if you screw up and choose a boyfriend. Can you say the same about your boyfriend?

You're family. If you really love him maybe you can date when you're older. He'll still be around.
