I wouldn't report people unless it's really offensive. The offenders will (hopefully) learn by experience and eventually get bored of these answers.

Yes, trying to make the world a better place is very noble indeed. There's nothing wrong with reporting people but only when you're truly justified. Reporting people for the tiniest and irreasonable things is kind of immature and this explains your being quite unpopular. Like reporting someone for using a bad word or something isn't really worth it. Abusing this whole reporting system is not the point. The point is you're supposed to use it accordingly and report someone for a valid reason (ex: violence, racism, etc.) and people hate you because they consider you to not only be a threat but an online tattletale. So be nice and loosen up and you'll get better responses from others. (Be careful because others might have reported you as well because what goes around, comes around)

Sometimes you have to turn a blind eye to things that aren't really hurting others. If you see a kid stealing candy from a store There is a more rewarding punishment in allowing the child know without words that you seen him do it without blowing the whistle on him or her. It actually build a conscience. The drug dealer on your street If it is not threating your life. it is a grin and bear it I am deeply sorry Trust that I am If you are reporting people on here it is really based upon morals If something doesn't fit into your life, doesn't mean that it's not the right thing tostay to someone who needs to hear an honest reaction Good Luck to You

What is more impotant to you: mae the world a better place by reporting people or being loved by people?
Maybe you can also make the world a better place if you are a happy and loved person, so try so not pay attention to everybody's mistakes.

Sometimes it is better when people learn their lessons by experience rather than punishment... it's just the wisdom to seperate reporting them or letting them learn the difference which is the hard part.
