Hey, lots of people play bridge - it's a great game. Thousands of people play it online, at BBO, Pogo or Yahoo (http://games.yahoo.com/games/login2?page=br&ss=1).

I think that no one plays bridge for the same reason I can't get anyone to play boardgames--no one has any time for anything anymore. Everyone is scheduled to death, even down to bathroom breaks, and no one has any time to be free. Plus, I think that younger people are playing video games and such. Even though I am only 30, I might as well have been around during the Great Depression with as much difference as there is between me and the people in the generation after me. If it doesn't take batteries, it's not worth their time.

Bridge is a complex game and good for the mind. Young people would think better if they were trained to play bridge. It is an excellent game requiring memory, strategy and logical thinking. I think it needs to be revived. We updated some of the terms to a Star Wars theme changing "dummy" to "woki," "tricks" to "credits," and "rubber" to "saber." This made my mother cringe, but so be it. My kids were more interested.

I love playing. There's a bridge club that meets near my house.
