High school, no matter how depressing or troubling it may seem sometimes, is one of the best ways to develop your social skills and have the time of your life.

Plus due to crazy time constrictions, you actually learn to manage your time, perfect preparation for college.

But then again, it really depends on your child.

Homeschooling many times is carried out at even with element the figure feels is suitable for the youngster. i recognize that throughout Florida, the state would not require a "grade element" for little ones who're to be homeschooled, so homeschooled little ones do not could be operating at some certain grade element. Many homeschooled little ones artwork at diverse stages. I actually have a 2d grader who works with a large type of third grade (or higher) elements, and conventional grade cloth in a unmarried situation--it actual relies upon on what i recognize he can manage and what he won't be able to... (Now, in case you intend to positioned the youngster back right into a public college later, then you definately'll ought to the contact the popular public college to work out what they say about it. for sure, one selection could be to pull the youngster out of school on the instantaneous, no longer waiting for the youngster to formally fail eighth grade. then you definately could homeschool something else of eighth grade and help her to end the three hundred and sixty 5 days effectively, if a probability.) desire this facilitates.

It depends I mean you child will get ahead of everyone their age and end up going to college or a job before anyone their age and that might lead to bad situations on the otherhand it could be a very good experience for them because they will get to study in a more stable enviroment than a classroom full of teenagers. My sister was homeschooled for 6 months because of an illness though and she couldn't stand being by herself for 6 months with hardly anyone her age but then again that is a different situation completly.

Absolutely not!!! Homechooling is not done by the child alone! It is a joint effort betweenparent and child. If the child is having problems in school yu need to find out what they are and help them over this hurdle. High school is hell! Besides at this age you can not effectively start homeschooling, and then they are going to miss out on so much good stuff by not being in school! Find out what the problem at school is first and get that taken care of before you make any rash decisions.

I personally disagree with homeschooling. No matter how easy it may be or how much ahead the student will get, I think that it is necessary for students of all ages to attend school to be a better, more well-rounded individual. I think that kids that are homeschooled miss out on learning social skills. School teaches everyone how to deal with critism, learn to tollerate difficult classmates, work with others, and to better develop their personality(ex.-making friends). It also teaches students structure and humbles them because they are amongst many students. I think that when students that have been homeschooled all their life get to college that it is going to be a major reality check. They will not know how to deal with other students and will not know how to learn from their teachers (because they've learned from their parents all their life)

NO! I know several people in homeschool. First off I wouldnt trust them to be learning anything at all and second of all being in homeschool just makes society hate you because that proves that you are either scared of the people in your school and youre running away or your to stupid to stay in normal school so you run away to home school. Its a bad idea.

no and ill tell u why . first off there separated from society , other kids. and they dont learn the responcibilty like others because the time factor in turning in work is different. once a week usually which means they can put it in the low priority file. and limits there research insentive. and not to mention it gives them an attitude of not having to go to school, amongst other things from there. keep your child in school if u care about there future.

i would really encourage them to stay in a regular school.
i tried homeschooling myself around that age and it doesn't work. there is noone to help you with simple questions on the course and being at home alone all day the last thing you think about doing is working on your courses.
homeschooling does work for some people, but consider the reasons you child wants to switch over and think about if they are responsible and devoted enough to commit about one hour each day to each course

The only way i would homeschool a 10th grader is because they were having problems with students in school.

10th grade is a little late to be starting homeschooling.

I would start them much earlier.

No, home school stops the child from learning social skills. High School is one of the most pivotal times for learning how to be social and handle social situations.
If you leave them on their own they will not learn anything.
