It's not like me and my girlfriend are doing anything attention getting. It seems like some guys stare for enjoyment and others stare out of jealousy. According to some friends it's because straight guys are intimidated by the competition lesbian women pose to them. I think straight guys are also jealous that lesbian women get more of what they want- beautiful women. Perhaps, there's also be an issue of jealousy about how easy it is for women to naturally get along with other women. These are just my own quick thoughts. What do you think?

Because they are fantasizing about what it would be like to have sex with them or to watch them have sex.

because if a straight guy see's a girl normally they stair its a normal reaction to do it, but when a guy see's 2 females together they just let all there fanties run wild in there head! and it is disrespectful to you! to have guys just stairing at you for no reason, its cuz they have no manners, they wouldnt want to be staired at if they were gay, they would be mad if there were gay and all you did was stair at them! guys do it because tey have nothing better to do! i think its pathetic, if a guy thinks something of it then go say something dont stand there and stair and could cause a scene cuz if one person looks then everyone around them has to stair too! its so disrespectful! i see why women have turned lesbian, because guys can be complete a** holes and this is one reason to show how they are! I am glad you are lesbian so all the guys that stair have no chance with you!

Straight guys stare at women all the time. Doesn't matter that you're lesbian, though also remember that a lot of straight guys also have this irrational fantasy of making it with two lesbians. Don't ask.

I mean, if you're lesbian, and enjoying the company of your lesbian partner, where do YOU want to put the straight guy? Not in the bed, I bet!

How do I put this? Some men have a bit of an ego. (Was that an understatement?) (I'm trying to be tactful here) They tend to think that all women will automatically fall over for them. And so, when they see two women together, they are fantasizing a "menage au troi" (Hope I spelled it right), with themselves as the star. I actually overheard one guy say "Yeah, I'll be the meat in that sandwich" sigh

No offense intended but most lesbian couples I see are burly, butch she-male biker types. Usually fat and ugly to boot. I'd stare out of morbid curiosity much the same way one would stare at the bearded lady in a circus freak show. If it's two pretty ladies walking down the street, naturally they would attract male attention regardless of sexual orientation.

Because a lot of men are pigs! Have you ever watched Seinfeld? There is one about women just might kiss! And for some sick piggish reason that turns some men on!

My experience is pretty scattered, but my thoughts when staring is usually like when I stare at any other attractive woman. She's pretty, nice eyes, nice butt, great legs, decent face. I think your just trying to get your ego stroked by the guys here a little, but thats cool, nothing like inflating ones self esteem before eating some clam.

Cuz I'm waiting for them to kiss, so I can bust out my camera phone.
Stop putting your lesbo a** on a pedestal. It's cuz men are perverts, and they like watching women make out. I think your arrogance makes your self-empowerment a self-detriment.

I don't cosider it a challege for Lesbians to hook up with women. Thats like me hooking up with a really drunk girl. So I just consider it a cop out, challenges aren't for everyone. Granted I don't get all the women but I get love so I don't trip. But yeah about as much respect as I have for guys that only talk to wasted/drunk girls is about as much respect as I have for Lesbians. Take the easy way out.

On another note when I'm out with women I get lesbians looking over at me smiling like yeah that boy gets a** or whatever and they try to respect me for it. So i think what youve described goes both ways, alot of gay women don't want to bring her mate around good looking sucessful men for fear that we may sway her opinion.

My issue with the Lez don't try to be like men, so many of them at bars are rude and they talk sh** like they can fight and it's because I'm attractive and she caught her girl looking or something stupid to that effect. I'm a 230 lb man I don't want to knock some girl out but she will catch one on the chin.

But if you want to try and One up straight guys on getting laid then thats a clear sign of Immaturity which is another thing I've noticed in you women. You'd figure we'd be friends but you've obviously drawn the line so I really don't think i could ever really be friends or level with a gay woman. She'll just try to be like I get more A** than you which is silly and untrue.

You don't like us we don't like yall.

I just asked a question to give you a chance to respond. Ok

I think it's because they find it sexy. It's the whole fantasy in their head of maybe you'll ask them to join you, and they can then be with two women.

I'm not saying I condone this at all...but that's how I see men, unfortunately. Pleh.

c'mon this is a guys ultimate fantasy. the whole two girls scenario has fascinated men for years. i just think that they look as it as a challenge and think that if they had the opportunity they could either turn them around or just join in.
