The Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) establishes minimum wage, overtime pay, recordkeeping, and child labor standards affecting full-time and part-time workers in the private sector and in Federal, State, and local governments. Covered nonexempt workers are entitled to a minimum wage of not less than $5.15 an hour. Overtime pay at a rate of not less than one and one-half times their regular rates of pay is required after 40 hours of work in a workweek.

The federal minimum wage is $5.15 an hour. Most states have set minimum wages well above that level a few cities and counties have minimum wages set above both the federal and state guidelines.

Country minimum wage is 5.15 an hour but some States and cities have raised their local min wages up abit higher

4.75 16 and below and 5.15 is the minimum wage, I think i heard of something that there going to try to raise the minimum wage though. but it's 5.15.

its $5.15, but some states are higher. It hasnt gone up in close to 10 years.

Congress tried to raise it this year, but the Republicans refused to pass the law unless it was combined with eliminating the tax on estates over $10 Million. They were fine with raising their own pay, however.

Nationwide it is still only $5.15 but many states are higher, and some are in the process of raising it. In Washington, it's almost eight bucks.
