This is About the Sims?

Question

Anyone who has the Sims knows that when you buy a house, you only have 20,000 sim dollars or whatever to spend. I know the cheat, Rosebud that i can use, but it doesnt add to my 20,00 dollars. The house i need to buy is 234,000 S.D. is there a cheat where i can add money to the code before i buy a house so i have more money to spend on a house?

ok i dont think anyone understands this lol. when you MAKE a FAMILY and you FINISH it, it will say that that family has 20,000 dollars. I wanna buy a house thats more than that. If i buy a cheaper house, do the rosebud thing then move out, what do you do to move out?

If you have original sims, go to the neighborhood screen, click on the bulldozer in the building/lot mode, then click on the house/family you want to move. There will be a popup asking you if you want to evict the family. Say yes, then after you evict them, I can't remember if it bulldozes the house or if it asks you if you want to bulldoze it. Anyway, once you say yes to the evict question it will move your family out. Then you can choose them from the family bin and move them into your desired house.

If you are using the newer versions, then you can use a new cheat, in the neighborhood screen, bring up the cheat window, type in "familyfunds 'familyname' $" in 'familyname' put in your family's last name, in $ put in the amount of money you want to give your family. Then in the lot view you can click on "move family" and select the family you want to move, I can't remember if it offers the option of immediately moving them into the house of your choice or if you have to move them into the family bin first. No, there's no cheat you can use. If you're on Sims 2 you can use a program called SimPE that allows you to set all sorts of different things for your Sims. Also, in Sims 2, there's a cheat that allows you to set the money for your Sims, but you still need to be in a house or a lot for that.

If you want to buy a house for 234,000, you'll need to move into a cheap house or lot, use rosebud to build up your money, then move the family from the lot to the expensive house.

What you will need to do is move your sims into an empty lot that they can afford, then do the rosebud cheat with the ;!;!;! a bunch of times until you get enough, then go out to the neighborhood screen, and click on the lot and evict your sims, then move the family to the house you want.

You use the rosebud cheat with the semicolan and excalmation point right? it looks like: rosebud;!;!;!;! so on....thats the only money cheat there is for the first game. for sims 2 the cheat is motherlode

you move into an empty lot, do the cheat and then you save and quit, evict the people ( press the bulldoser button) and it will ask you if you want to evict the people, you click yes. then go back to select a family, and click on the family you just evicted and then you buy the house.
