I recently ended it with my boyfriend of 3 years. We have been living together for 2. He has cheated on me several times, I 've found condoms in his car, used ones in our bedroom, he was arrested once for soliciting a prostitute. After all his lies and cheating I forgave him over and over. It has been six months since his last fall back and just last week I found a pack of condoms and one was missing. He says they're old and that he was tempted to do something but he didn't. NOw that Im gone, he realizes what he lost and he is begging me back...he sounds so sincere and apologetic but I just cant risk taking another heartache. He is laid off and has the house payment and bills are due. I was nice enough to give him half the rent but he is saying that I should be there for him in his time of need and that Im treating him like $hit. He is basically going crazy. What do I do? I don't want to hurt him like this and I don't want to put myself in that position again. What should I do?

You have already done all that you can do. You have shown him your love with your forgiveness over and over yet he still looks elsewhere. He has not learned the meaning of "love", only intercourse. As I am sure you really care for him are you ready to be his teacher on how to care, to love, to be honest to one? Are you willing to take the heartbreak while you think he may learn his lessons?
It's time to move on and ignore his need, just like he did not recognize your need for him to be faithful. He is trying to give you a guilt trip to cover up what he has done and to make excuses. It may be all he knows.

Of course he's gonna sound sincere; his house payment is due and he is struggling financially. Don't allow yourself to be used. I gurantantee you once you help him, he will be up to his games again. He didn't care about you when he was arrested for solicitation of prostitutes and the used condoms found in the bedroom. What you should do is give him a little advise. Advise him to go to the unemployment office so that he can file for unemployment to get a check. Tell him while he's there, look for a job and look through the classified ads in the newspaper. And you need to move on with your life. Life is too short to be stressed out over this guy that will only bring you alot of headache and pain in the future. Move to someone that is worth it and has similar goals as yourself.

stop! please read what u just told us and tell me why you care how the heck he is??!! think about YOU! he didnt all the while and yes I am sorry that hurts to read but tell him to go away and figure it out on his own like he did on all his sex sprees! Your self esteem has been gauged away at and you need to repair it with positives in your life.... all yours. smile you can do it. we are here to support u my friend.

Give him your car keys and your credit cards. Then call 911 and tell them you've been mugged.
