No American is going to go to jail for disagreeing with our governments stance on the war. I agree that it seems to be a bit of a Zionist movement more than anything and I disagree that Hezbollah is a terrorist organization. That is what is so great about the freedom of speech. The validation for this war was lost in the history of the area. What I mean is the hate is too deep to say that they are at war over 2 soldiers. They are at war because they hate what each other stand for. It is a ridiculous tragedy.

here's the reality. hezbollah are better armed than the israelis expected. they have rpg-7 and rpg-29 that can kill the israeli merkava tanks and their crews.
and that means they can't go in there. the next best thing is to just level the whole place with bombs and then burn it to the ground with white phosphorous killing everyone, then say they were all terrorists. that's what the US did in fallujah
but israel can't do that because america's arab allies would go nuts. they have to "keep it clean"
and thats why they're killing civilians. they need to kill some people in retaliation every time hezbollah fires rockets and kills civilians. and they can't get at the hezbollah so they kill innocents
the war's just not going anywhere like this. hezbollah will keep doing what they're doing, and israel will continue to retaliate against civilians, until it becomes too embarassing for america and they have to help them out of this mess

No, the current war is happening because the terrorist would just not stop attacking them, at some point and time Isreal said enough was enough, it was not just this one attack and two soldiers but it was the dozens and 100's before that, esp since Isreal had just agreed to give back land in return to peace, only to be directly attacked for thier efforts.
And no civilians would be dead if the terrorist would not be hiding in the middle of school or hospital or houseing areas.
Please look close and put the real blame where it belongs.

Americans are confused, and really don't care about the middle east for the most (except for middle east oil to drive their SUVs, but we're divided on that too, I personally wish I had a solar car or water ran car, so that our government had nothing to do with the middle east), and our media is playing the war up on the middle east as the start of the END of the our civilization (Armageddon), to which they get more money in getting better ratings. I'm sorry this is only my opinion, I'm betting that Americans don't care who dies in the middle east, we're more fascinated to see if World War III starts by the escillating violence.

well first of all i think that you should learn to use capital letters in your sentences. besides, i have no idea where you got that 900 number. i think that the answer as 45 or so, probably less. in case you were wondering, hezbollah... What a load of old rubbish - your argument, not the fact that so many have died on BOTH sides as a result of the kidnapping of the soldiers. The whole matter could have been easily settled in the first few days by the repatriation of the soldiers....

Hezbollah has been firing up to 90 rockets a day into Israel EVEN WHEN ISRAEL shut down the military. Hezbollah didn't stop!
