Some motherboards have the PCI-e slot and integrated video and some have AGP and integrated video. Read the manual with your mobo and it will tell you what kind of slot you have. Note, if you use a standard PCI slot for video, don't expect it to function any better than integrated.

Yes, you can attach a PCI card on the sysetm, however first disable the intergrated cards in BIOS of the system and then instll the PCI card. Also install the drivers for the Graphics card that yu are installing on the system.
This will work.

I've done it many times, same is true of integrated sound cards too. Just be careful not to disable the old one before you get the new one set up. The newer OS can handle two video cards and allow U to select which is the default card. Once U get it set it up I would disable the old one. good luck!
