I did better on the Mensa one- 20out of 30....."Your score was 20 out of 30. That is a very good score, you would have a good chance of passing the Mensa test".

IQ tests test your ability to do... IQ tests.
As a gross general indication, if you do lousy, there's three possible reasons:
1. You are not as clever as you hoped...
2. English isn't your first language, thus slewing the results
3. You are no good at IQ tests.
As it happens I used to be in Mensa and I had a great many good friends there - I also saw a huge number of idiots, alcoholics and worse. Trust me, having a high IQ doesn't mean you are clever, wise or talented, at best it indicates you have good reasoning skills.
Technically I'm a genius. Yay me. My children draw better stick figures, I am utterly useless at DIY and I've made more stupid mistakes than I care to list... I also don't have a great many qualifications. I may be 'smarter' than most of the lecturers I've ever met, but I lack the aptitude to study. I get bored and go off on wild tangents.
Basically, like others have said, it's just another tag. Having a high IQ doesn't make you smart, clever or wise. Similarly, having a low IQ doesn't necessarily make you stupid.
Remember this old quote: "Stupid is as stupid does."

i did the IQ test on Tickle nd i gt 120 even though i am only 13!
It doesn't matter if u didn't get a very good score as the IQ test does not determine how smart you are. It is a bit like verbal reasoning. If any of you have taken the 11+ then you will understand what i mean. Also the smartest person in the world could have gotten a really rubbish score just because they might not have the mind style needed for the test.
Don't worry if you didn't get a very good score, it's just a stupid test which should not be used to determine how smart you are.

I just did the mensa one and got 27/30
"Your score was 27 out of 30. That is an excellent score, you would have a very strong chance of passing the Mensa test and joining Mensa. "

dont bother with the online ones, they are not reflective of true IQ tests. MENSA is the best and most recognised test available, but dont knock yourself if you think you have a low score, I have a very high score, but would swap it immediately for the ability to paint well. I am terrible at art, would love to be able to do it, but my drawing resembles a childs!
We all have skills in different areas, embrace the ones you have and dont worry about being slotted into an IQ range.

I did three the other night and scored between 126-142 and did the Mensa test and got 20 out of 30 ....................but I ain't that bright ,if I was I wouldn't have wasted the last 3 hours on this site...

Do the one on the mensa site. It will test you but i did brilliantly at it and they accepted me into mensa as an honorary member for the highest online score

IQ tests are quite worthless. Even MENSA - which I'm sure is full of very fine people - so no offence intended.
Intelligence is a far more complicated sphere than any set of tests can accurately identify.

take my advice and don't stress yourself over it.
I'm in Mensa mate and other than that we all share the ability to pass the test. As an organisation its as full of losers and idiots as any other you'll likely to meet.
The IQ test means nothing in itself. Your IQ is no more important than your eye colour.

IQ tests online are stupid. The only reliable one is Mensa.
The normal IQ range is 85-115

IQ tests are the biggest load of rubbish ever. Its just tests how good you are at being geeky and how well you can distinguish patterns in silly diagrams, they show very little else.
