Miscarried July 8th-9th at 6wks5days and sex2 weeks later frequently. 31 days later no period. I took a HPT?

and there was a VERY FAINT 2nd line. Could I be pregnant again or this from the other pregnancy? HATE waiting to take a 2nd test.

No warning or advice from doctor (just to add) it all happened at the ER.

Also....just took another HPT with first mornings urine and the FAINTEST of lines again! also have had the most minimal spotting for a day or two??!

I'd say there is a good chance that this could still be from the 1st pregnancy. But it might also be that you are pregnant again. I'd think it is pretty unlikely as your body didn't have the opportunity to get into a regular cycle again, but you never know. Sometimes miracles happen. It happened to a friend of mine once. She actually miscarried 2 days before a scheduled abortion, then got pregnant again right away and decided to keep the baby as she felt it was a baby that really "needed to be born". Barely any time in between her miscarriage and new pregnancy, so I do know it can happen.

OK, you could be pregnant but it all depends when you did the pregnancy tests and the blood test? It is possible to have spotting when a fertilized egg implants itself. But it could be something else as well. Going to a gyno is the best option as they should be able to tell you if your pregnant by looking, The cervix changes from a pink to a purple. But if your not pregnant there is another reason for you to be missing your period and a gyno is the best person to tell you what's happening. I didn't find out I was pregnant with my first born until I was 9 weeks because the tests came back negative the first time I did the blood test it was to early and the HPT's were all negative as my hormone levels were to low to detected I was pregnant. I had another blood test done at 8.5 weeks and when that came back positive then I was sent for an ultrasound to see how far I was, I was completely shocked to find out I was already 9 weeks after getting so many negative tests in that period of time. I found out I was pregnant with my first child when I was only two weeks pregnant. When I took the pregnancy test the line was barely readable. When my mom first looked at it she couldn't even see it but it was there and I was pregnant. There is a chance it could be left over hormones but I would say your are pregnant. Good luck!! lol

Any line, no matter how faint is usually +.

Try a different brand if you don't want to wait a few more days to retest...some test are more sensitive than others.

Or call your doc for a blood test...it's possible the test is detecting hCG from the earlier pregnancy and that's why the result is so faint.

They say even a faint line means your pregnant, a month after a miscarrage is a long time for those hormones to be in your body. You should probably make an apointment with a doctor just to make sure. Good luck.

it couldnt be from the other pregnancy because once a pregnancy is terminated then the hormone level goes back to normal but if there is a faint line wait a couple days take it over but if you really wanna be sure go to the clinic and gt a blood test done sorry about your lost

The Hormone usually remains for up to 6 weeks. Try taking another test in a few days.

One of the most fertile times is right after you miscarry or give birth. Take another test in a few days to double check. Otherwise congrats!!!

Your pregnant again. I miscarried June 24 and I took a test a week later (just to make sure) and the line wasn't there.:(

You could be pregnant. Try seeing your doctor, I had a faint line when I took my hpt and I was. So, possibly you are.
