Ok, I remember watching this movie when I was like 12.....so like 1995. There were these 3 kids that had these creatures that lived in their backpacks. The kids were probably 9-12 years old. The main character had this creature that looked kind of like a fuzzy dog (it was black and white) with a long neck that made cooing sounds. The creatures would always get into trouble and tear the house up etc. I think the kids were trying to keep them hidden because people wanted to take them for research. In the end of the movie, the camera pans up and away from the street where the kids live, and all of the garage doors are painted like sunsets.
Does ANYONE know what I'm talking about?? I swear I'm not crazy hahahaha. It's been bugging me for years what the name of this movie is!! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys!!

Sounds like Gremlins, the movie. Yeah, the kid finds these gremlins, they wreck his life, then and old man comes to solve their problem. Kind of. Watch it again, I love doing that with old movies I hardly rememeber.

That is the Gremlins. I love that movie, it rocks and the little fuzzy creature, he's the coolest ever.

Sounds like Gremlins. They were not to get wet and they should not be feed after midnight. Did they totally destroy the kitchen? If yes, then it is Gremlins.

It is Prehysteria. I personally do not remember these movies, but somehow I might remember them being advertised. There were 3 movies in the series.
