Twins come in many ways and there is some evidence of a genetic link, so a twin can have twins and they might be a little more likely than the average person.

The gene for fraternal twins is carried by the female. If there is a female twin, then she can pass that genetic trait on. The male will have the gene, but it will not be passed along unless he procreates with a female who also carries the gene. So, the answer to your question is yes, a twin certainly can have a set of twins.

Of course, there is no gene for identical twins. That is always an anomaly that is not genetic.

twins is somehting that soemtimes runs in a family . and twins can get pregnant with twins . what scares me that i just found out after finding my fiances birth mom is that her mom [ his gma ] had 27 kids and most were sets of twins or triplets . not sure if identical or not , but if identical is in his genes then the possiblity of me having identical twins with him is greater . since identical is where the cells divide into 2 babies . fraturnal would be up to the mothers genes since it is 2 eggs being fertalized .

A twin has to have a twin. Otherwise they are alone or triplets or qauds or something else. If you are referring to a twin having offspring who are twins, then that too is yes.

Yes. It's rare, but it happens. Actually, twin pandas just had twins themselves the other day in Bejing. Very interesting story.
