I know he might not be the best composer ever (leave that to Mozart (an opera at age 6!)), but he has some of the best classical songs ever devised. He is definitely one of my favorite composers (even though I can't play his songs). Anyone else think he's one of the best?

PS: My favorite song is Waltz in A Minor, Op. 34 No.2

One of my favorites as well. I first heard his work on Tony MacAlpine's CD's (He is an instrumental rock guitarist) and have been hooked since. Tony would add a song or two on each CD. My favorites are his Etudes Op.10 and Sonata #3 Opus #58.

Yes, I like his nocturnes although I can't play them too well.

My mom was a great pianist and I loved listening to her play Chopin and other classical composers.

Nice question.

Chopin in a rainstorm has got to be made into a music video sometime. Love it!
