i'm tired and cold all the time & i sleep alot. i know i'm anemic, so i take a multivitamin/multimineral with iron. any other suggestions? i'm talking long-term, not something like chugging a red bull for a quick-fix.

Try taking an additional iron supplement in conjunction with the multivitamin. It should work as long as your able to absorb iron. If you have pernicious anemia ( its when your body can not metabolize iron from food/supplements) you may need vitamin B12 (it is given by injection), talk to your doctor if the increase with a supplement doesn't work. Make sure you drink plenty of fluids and some sort of fiber, iron may cause constipation. My iron levels were also low, I take a multivitamin and two 27mg tablets of iron a day.

Make sure you are getting enough good sleep each night. Also, I tend to have a lot more energy when I use energy. I am much more energetic when I work out 3-4 days a week.
