Assuming windows XP...
Start
Run
type in: cmd
In the window that appears type in: ipconfig
You will get four lines of information, with the 3rd line being the default gateway
That is the IP for your router

I am assuming you are running Windows XP.
> Go to the Start menu
> Type in CMD in the run command and hit the enter key
> Within CMD, type in ipconfig /all
> Your router's IP address will primarily be your gateway address since most routers run their own DHCP servers

Hello if you want to get this info please in windows press start than accessories and than find the application "command Prompt" when it opens up type ipconfig/all and press enter you will get alot of info about your connections and your ip adresses if you would like to configure your router and go to settings you can try typing this in your browser 192.168.254.254 and you should go to the configuration of your router hope it works for you and good luck.

Are you concerned with your router's internal IP address (The one that connects to your computer) or your router's external IP address (The one that connects to your ISP)?

open up command prompt.
click start -> run, then type cmd and click ok
now type ipconfig in the DOS command window that pops up, hit return and it will display your ip address, subnet mask, and default router.

I don't know, but didn't know how else to tell you that I agree that trying to get a refund at Best Buy, or just plain old customer service, is truly a fast route to an embolism, stroke, bleeding eyeballs, bursting blood vessels, exploding buboes, and all other bad things. You are so right.

type cmd to go to your command prompt
type ipconfig
and your default gateway address should be your routers address as well
