Will 160 Gig H Drive be recognized on Asus A7V600 as 160 ?

Format it, plug it in, and look. If it sees it all, great. If not, partition it into smaller destions.

Advise: even if it does see the whole thing, yuou may still want to partition it as the smaller the drive, the faster the seek time and the faster it will run. Create a partition for music, a partition for pictures, a partitions for videos and one more for everything else. (Or something like that which will work for you)
